Campsite Čikat welcomes guests all year round, but the true spirit of spring camping begins at Easter and carries through into May. During this time, the island of Lošinj comes alive with a variety of events and sports competitions, making it an ideal season for an active and also affordable getaway since the campsite offers special spring rates and deals on mobile home rentals.

An ideal location for nature lovers

Nestled just a 25-minute walk or a short bike ride from the town of Mali Lošinj, campsite Čikat is a great springtime destination. Guests enjoy exploring the surroundings on foot or by bike while soaking in the mild Mediterranean climate.

Hiking enthusiasts can set off on one of the seaside trails or head to the nearby Providenca viewpoint for panoramic views. For a more challenging adventure, the Osoršćica mountain above Nerezine offers a real hiking experience. While in Mali Lošinj, don’t miss the Apoxyomenos Museum, dedicated to the ancient bronze statue of a Greek athlete discovered in the island’s waters.

Spring camping

Facing southwest, Campsite Čikat enjoys plenty of sunshine while offering natural protection from the wind. It features heated sanitary facilities (including the two by the sea) and modern mobile homes for 4–6 people with air conditioning, meaning you wont be neither hot nor cold. Some units even offer three bedrooms—perfect for families or groups.

From 12 April to 9 May, camping rates for 2 people on a standard pitch start from 42€, and for pitches closer to the sea from 45€ onwards.

For mobile home rental at Camping Čikat for Easter and early May holidays (17.4. – 4.5.) there is up to 20% discount on certain types of mobile homes for 4 – 6 persons. The special price is valid in case of min. 2 nights:

Mobile home rentals in the early summer – from 21.6. to 13.7. the price of Easy Freedhome and Type C mobile homes for a rental of minimum 7 days (arrivals Friday, Saturday and Sunday) will be 255€ / night.

Easter at Campsite Čikat

During the Easter holidays, guests can enjoy a variety of services: the on-site shop will be open as well as the Silver Bay restaurant, the children’s playroom and the multi-purpose sports field for football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton.

Spring events on Lošinj

• 4Islands MTB Race – Epic Series | April 15–19
  A thrilling multi-stage cycling race spanning four islands: Lošinj, Unije, Cres, and Krk. Lošinj hosts the first two stages.
• Celebrating 140 Years of Tourism on Lošinj | May 3
  Join the festivities in Mali Lošinj, including the creation of the island’s tallest krokant—a traditional almond-sugar treat. The sabre-cutting ceremony begins at 20:00, followed by a concert by the legendary band Parni Valjak.
• Nerezine “Muaj” Festival | May 4
  A charming springtime tradition held in Studenac Square, where the local boys bring a boat and flowers from the gardens of unmarried girls in town. A tribute to spring dating back over two centuries.
