Upgrades and renovations in campsites in Istria for 2025

Istria is one of the most popular camping destinations, with many campsites offering a wide range of options to their guests. And this year their services and facilities will be even better. Find out below what you can look forward in 2025 at campsites throughout Istria.

Valamar Camping Lanterna, Poreč

One of the largest campsites is planning to renovate its Comfort pitches. Some will be equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, some with a private jacuzzi, and the campsite will also offer larger Comfort XL pitches. There are also plans to improve the family facilities. New playgrounds for children will be built and the Aquamare and Splash zones will be renovated.

Valamar Camping Istra, Funtana

This popular campsite in Funtana is a favorite among families because of its facilities for both children and parents. This year the campsite plans to open a new spa and relaxation area, the Balance Mediterran Spa. The existing wellness facilities will be improved and new features are planned for the children’s facilities.

FKK Camping Solaris, Poreč

This large naturist campsite, with accommodation ranging from mobile homes and glamping to apartments and pitches, is also planning upgrades for 2025. New Eco Home mobile homes are planned, reinforcing the campsite’s mission to provide more environmentally friendly accommodation. And pet lovers will be delighted with a new, modern dog park.

Campsite Arena Stupice, Premantura

This campsite was one of the first ones to introduce mobile homes, and now it’s time to replace them. But despite the renovations, the campsite plans to keep its old charm. All 110 mobile homes will be replaced and 114 new luxury pitches with all necessary hook-ups are planned. A new children’s playground and several renovated sanitary facilities also await you at the campsite in 2025.

Campsite Koversada Uncovered and Campsite Koversada Covered, Vrsar

Koversada Covered, the new textile part of the campsite, will have 500 new pitches and 141 new premium mobile homes. The naturist section, Uncovered, was renovated last year and 470 new pitches were added. Additionally, a new restaurant based on the MaiEats concept will open in 2025 and a new sports and leisure area is also being developed.

Campsite Zelena Laguna, Poreč

In 2025, Zelena Laguna will have 126 new fully equipped pitches, including 20 Superior pitches with a private bathroom. Sanitary facilities 1 and 3 will be renovated to include a children’s bathroom and a dog shower. The poolside restaurant will also be renovated and new catering facilities are planned.

Campsite Bijela Uvala, Funtana

Bijela Uvala is planning a lot of new things this year. These include the renovation of the seaside pool, the renovation of the restaurant, new facilities for children and a new sunbathing area. Sanitary facilities 6 and 1 will also be renovated, and facility 1, which is next to the children’s playground, will also have a children’s bathroom and a dog shower.

Campsite Arena Indije, Pula

The campsite has already renovated its pitches in recent years, and 17 new luxury pitches by the sea are planned. In addition to the new pitches, the campsite will add 50 new mobile homes for up to 50 people. All the mobile homes will be air-conditioned and dogs will be allowed at an extra charge.
